I was going down 132 today towards bothell everette HWY and saw a bunch of flashing lights ahead. As I passed the accident scene I saw a red with white stripes 65 Mustang fastback that was about 4' shorter than it was originally. I recognized the car, the owner takes it to Clearview when it isnt on a road course. It had a 351 stroker, AFR heads, after market 6 speed transmission and alot of other mods.
Some ADD kid driving an BMW X5 didnt see traffic stopped at the light and plowed into a mid 2000's Honda accord, which then plowed into the fastback, which inturn stuffed a 2010 Salleen Mustang convertible. The speed limit on this road is 45, the BMW had to been doing atleast that to cause the damage.
I pulled into the Albertson parking lot to take some pics and met the mother ( owner of the Salleen vert) of the current owner of the fastback. His dad had owned the car for more than 30 years and had just sold it to his son. This was his first cruise with it.
What a shame. |

Where are the pics?
I hate to see a good car wrecked, even if it is a Mustang. |

Dang. Again, glad everyone was ok though.
Brings back some memories too... my second car was a 1965 2+2 fastback.

It's atleast fixable. And worth it for such a nice car. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |
