I fond these pics while transfering stuff off of my wifes old computer onto her new one. About 5 years ago my oldest son popped my car out of gear and rolled down the driveway and stuffed the drivers door into the passenger side of my wifes BMW. These a some of the pic's. Thank God my son and I were not hurt, but this little incident cost Farmers about 9 grand and me 2 grand.

Yea, it was. I know I took more from behind the cars, but cannot find them now. That pic is decieving, there was only a couple of inches of clearence between the rear quartes and honestly, I think they might not have cleared each other. Doesnt matter though, I didnt do my job as a father, my son could have been seriously hurt and I was the one watching him.

I was really thinking about selling my car and the T-Ram at the time. I had a purchaser lined up for 5K for the T-Ram and probably could have got 4K for the car with a HSR on it. At the time, there was a 91 FireHawk being offered for around 24K, I had talked my wife into investing in it.
This all changed that day.
That night I decided that I would find a convertible IROC and swap most of the parts off of my car onto the convertible and part out the rest.

Finding a IROC convertible for sale was more difficult than I thought it would have been. There were 4 of them listed between WA, OR, ID and Alaska. The one in WA was only 10 miles from my home and the price was low compared to the others. My wife was stilled pissed off one week later when I bought the convertible. It was dirty, been outside for a couple of months and underpowered compared to the 2000 T/A I made her trade in on the BMW ( yea, same one in the pic's). Anyhow, I brought it home and spent 6 hours cleanning, buffing and waxing it. That night as I slinked into the house trying to not be noticed she stood at the garage door eying the convertible. She turned around and said " why dont you fix your car, and keep the convertible the way it is". I knew she liked it, but still pissed off at me.

So, this is why I have two blue IROC's, and also why I say the convertible is my wifes. 4 grand for a car I like that also got me out of the doghouse was money well spent.

Ouch. That is hard to look at.

Glad it all turned out ok though... all things considered.
