Ask george lucas.

http://www.thedigitalbits.com/reviews3/starwarstrilogy.html

I was going to buy the stupid thing (it would be the geeky thing to do). But i cannot beleive the list of changes. I think I'll wait for his money train to run out, and get the ACTUAL movie when it comes out.

I guess it works... it's a slap in the face to the original, but it works.

the one that really REALLY pissed me off, was the change of boba fett's voice to the guy who did Jango Fett...

since now technically Boba is a clone and all...

but Boba is his own unique identity as well so it'd go to show that over the years after Jango was killed and all the clone storm troopers were killed off that there'd be some differences as far as vocal and all that Sad

yeah, i'm too into it, but that one was just the only one that really aggravated me.

having the updated palpatine however, is a good change in my opinion
and i'm not too worried about the anakin thing because to be honest, if you're going to consider the time when Vader turned to the dark side, he was pretty much dead at that time anyway...

I just bought the set for $43 shipped to my door...
the 4th DVD is the one I'm actually really interested in Surprised

one also hopes there is teasers for EPIII as well
