Just imagine a little ricer with a transverse motor doing that. It would throw the pieces right down the middle of the car lengthwise.

Car was decared a total loss likely from a prior accident. Nice. Stupid bastards. That alleged power requires certain safety precautions. Like sfi pressureplate and scattersheild. I'm glad that car is off the road if that's the case. Ignorance is no excuse for potential death.

When I was young (yeah I'm ancient) I had a 55 with a 302 in it of a 69 camaro. Have my beloved rock crusher muncie in it and a stock clutch.

Well.................really high rpm's and a stock clutch didn't mix very well. I was on 136th trying to turn left on division. Frikkin traffic would not give me a break and I got pissed and turned righ and nailed it. I pushed the clutch in and bang. Sparks, explosion.........my GF Wanda Richardson screamed and we came to a screeching stop. She had some small cuts on her foot. When I got her home her mom took off after me fir hurting her little girl.

The pressure plate exploded, took out my rock crusher Sad

and took the top off my 2 day old accell dual point dizzy. Bell was in a hundred pieces, and broke one part of the block off. Dash had dent in it from underneath.

Then.............some *holes broke into my garage and stole my tools and the motor. Wasn't a good time for me at all. Then.....................after I got it all put back together I joined the Marines and went to boot camp and some other*holes stole the car and stripped it. Not to mention my "burgundy" maro was stolen in 1990. Got it back much the worse for wear and have been fixing the things they screwed up for about 19 years now. Still got the chipped left window when they chipped it getting there tool into the car to unlock the doors.

I'm glad I have a scattershield. cheap insurance for irreplacable human appendages.

needless to say that guy lucked out to still be walking.

goooood gosh...thats intense...why was he even reving it that high no need to rev that high for a burnout...they really should have installed a scatter shield when they dropped the motor in...yeah hes lucky all right...but prolly used all his luck up on that one
