So since its the day of the big meal, who's making what? Think i'm going to get off my butt soon and bake a blueberry pie, with scratch made crust.

just all the traditional stuff.

We were going to have Elk, alligator and ostrich but then I found that a bunch of family were coming, so that got scraped due to cost involved, so we just bought two 25lb turkeys and a duck along with the rest of the old standbys. But then everyone canceled cause my mom spent the week in the hospital so the ten people that were coming are now not coming. Just the immediate family and my son's girlfriend.

apple pie
cherry pie
pumpkin pie
a turkey shaped cake, pan here http://www.amazon.com/Nordic-Ware-Platinum-Collection-Turkey/dp/B001B8LZCC

All made from scratch including the pumpkin goop that came from actually cooking a pumpkin not from a can. Any way hope everyone is having a great day.

I put one turkey in the oven and made my own stuffing...I also make some dirty rice that kicks butt...have beer handy!
I do all of the cooking! I dig my grill, not a big fan of food from a box Laughing and that is why I have always done the cooking, besides I enjoy it! I made a chocolate swirl cake too!
Cheers!

So that is next...just about chow time!
Hey Flea I missed that with your mom...sorry to hear of the problem, and I hope all turns out well!
Cheers
