I've got a set of 2.8L heads here. I gave em a valve grind, new seals, and surfaced the fire deck. Glass bead cleaned the heads and valves. Like new!
Buy these so you don't have to send yours out leaving your ride down as long!
Casting # 14054877
$100.
(Machining and seals alone cost over $250) _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Think this is about it. I might have 2.8L v6 Rad.
I have a V6 T5 I could whip together.
What are you looking for exactly!?
You know you need these heads! _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

lol, new heads aren't going to fix your car, unless your problem is that it gives the Chevy salute, or has a bad valve or something.
That said, you know do need new heads, and these are not the droids you're looking for... |

I went over there yesterday to pick up seats, and ended up with only the slides.
I think he said it was an 84 what looks like a Cherokee. It has the 2bbl 2.8 GM motor in it. The other was too wide for trails _________________ 92 Camaro

If that's the case, what'd you want with 4.3L stuff? Might as well swap a v8 in.
The carbed 2.8L motors suck. Best thing you can do is swap a camaro FI long block in or swap heads and cam and rebuild the carb. Eliminate most of the vacuum lines.
I did that to an '84 Jimmy... thing ran BETTER and Stronger than my 4.3L 89 Jimmy.
Oh and if the Cheeko has an automatic, there's half you're problem! They're too gutless to run an Auto IMHO. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

ya it's an auto with 4.56 gears. I don't know why i asked for 4.3 stuff. When this engine goes i think i wanna drop in a 3.4 if i drop in a v8 i'll have to get all new drive lines, tranny, tc and stuff. Rightknow it's got the "Death Wobbles" so it's in the garage untill i can get that fixed and then it will be my dd. _________________
