so i just got back from my parents house after helping my dad, he just had knee surgery, but on my trip home this 1980 something honda accord with a 4th gen Z28 badge on the back of it kept trying to race me, i didnt give in until they rolled down there window and said i was getting "owned off the line by there BA Z28" i laughed and fired back that i didnt know honda started making camaros, then the light changed and i gave them the show of dust they were asking for, but really the whole point of this was z28 badge, on a honda, really? _________________ "this thread is worthless with out pictures"

Oh dude...I get that yack all of the time! however there is no Z28 sheilds on these ricer-rides...most are a total pile of shizzle with some numb-nutted fist diddler behind the wheel of his portable bug sprayer...I asked Lama what do you do...simple Ignore them! So I do that now...plus I have gray hair, how fun can it be to race a guy as old as their dad! _________________

I wouldn't have gone with the Z28 badge, I think a Z06 badge is worth 5hp on a Honda! _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

Somehow Mike I think you have been mis-informed. Your advanced age seems to be affecting your judgment. Clearly this is a case of a responsible young man growing up and making "mature adult" choices in his life _________________ Member of the "Elite T56 Club" , big brake club, and "burgundy" (not red or maroon) car owner.

Well you may be right Dan. Thank goodness I have not been afflicted in such a way. If getting rid of a Red Firebird is growing up, I don't wanna!

It's a matter of opinion whether you have been affected or not and it's hard to see from the inside looking out, so let your friends be the judge of that. We are here for ya man..................let us help you.
Remember admitting you have a problem with a certain red firebird is the first step on the road to recovery. _________________ Member of the "Elite T56 Club" , big brake club, and "burgundy" (not red or maroon) car owner.

| It's like Dan's trying to talk you out of it Schultz... I think he has an ulterior motive. |

I hear ya B... he has been talking about a project car and I know from the way he is fixated on Red that he probably is secretly coveting my way awesome firebird
And Dan, I don't have a problem with it, she goes sideways around corners real nice and smooth like

No, no ulterior motive here, remember at dinner Mike, Karen wants a "pink" car, and red is a looooong way from pink.
And in case you may have forgotten my car does corners fairly well also
Stops kinda good too _________________ Member of the "Elite T56 Club" , big brake club, and "burgundy" (not red or maroon) car owner.

I agree completely, love to have a "parts birdy" to feed my maro with. Good to have a supply of low mileage little used parts handy for the taking _________________ Member of the "Elite T56 Club" , big brake club, and "burgundy" (not red or maroon) car owner.
