This may take awhile. 2hours today and i've got one port done! I hope to have this pontiac running for dyno!
Here's some before shots. That valve is one of the old exhaust valves, its sitting on some material that has to be removed. I'm using it for a template for the bowl work. These heads used to have the small valves 1.96/1.66. Paul cut the seats for me to 2.11/1.77
You can see in that last one all the grinding I did. Now check this out.
Yup.. that exhaust valve now fits in the bowl, all the way down to the port! |

Wow that is a lot of material. What is the estimated flow on those things before/after porting?

| I think the small valve head flows around 165 @ 0.500 stock. I've seen ported heads flowing 230-250cfm. I doubt i'll be there though lol |
