Hey all,
So the trip down went down without a hitch! Black Betty handled herself like a champ for all 2600 miles and over the continental divide of almost 10,000 feet! all the while averaging about 18MPG! new tranny with lockup FTW!
I can say that across FLAT STRAIGHT wyoming she blasted up to 130mph fully weighed down and at 7,000 ft.
All is well and i'll start my job search on monday.  I;ll post up some pictures later from my journey.

i think there is a curse, 2 years ago going to colorado in my friends camaro, like 10 miles from the colorado boreder wyoming state patrol got us... hahaha

Awesome. 18MPG, not bad for a fully loaded car. Wyoming was fun when I drove through 97 or 98, I found the speed limiter on the V6 at 108

130 with a 700r4? Damn you must have some tall gears. My cars tops 3rd at around 105ish.

IIRC he has the 9 bolt equivalent to a 3.23. Good top end but takes a while to get there
