Hey all,

So the trip down went down without a hitch! Black Betty handled herself like a champ for all 2600 miles and over the continental divide of almost 10,000 feet! all the while averaging about 18MPG! new tranny with lockup FTW!

I can say that across FLAT STRAIGHT wyoming she blasted up to 130mph fully weighed down and at 7,000 ft.

All is well and i'll start my job search on monday. Smile I;ll post up some pictures later from my journey.

~JAKE

See? There's no curse in Wyoming. Just people who don't maintain their cars. Laughing

Awesome. 18MPG, not bad for a fully loaded car. Wyoming was fun when I drove through 97 or 98, I found the speed limiter on the V6 at 108 Laughing

I agree, Penske is horrible at maintaining cars. And car maintainence had everything to do with friends falling asleep at the wheel. Very Happy

IIRC he has the 9 bolt equivalent to a 3.23. Good top end but takes a while to get there Cool
