It's not much of an amp, just 40W X 2 or 100W X 1 if you bridge it. Only has a 20 amp fuse, so my guess would be 250W max before you blow it up. Apparently was used to drive the woofer and the other 4 speakers used deck power (stamped 30W each on the magnets).

Hey, sounds pretty booked for car projects, but would anyone be up for a little soldering on my ECM?
If not I could still go to hang. Very Happy

I might be able to do that for you, pretty easy. I have a small butane solder iron. If this is to install a socket, I'll need a solder sucker, Radio Shack should have one, looks like a spring loaded syringe.

It's a vacuum desoldering tool

I'll be in Portland Friday, but I probably shouldn't try and get to your house with the truck. Laughing

There is a large gravel church parking lot on the main road if you wanted to stop by. How longs the truck?

65 feet, I would be more concerned with getting there through the residential areas.

Cool, sounds looks like about everything needed - ZIF or adapter socket, same process.

I'm thinking of doing R-Bob's EBL after I get paid for this business trip coming up, flight time alone should cover it. I love overtime when it's just sitting on a plane Laughing time & 1/2 on Saturday and doubletime when it runs into Sunday Very Happy

Actually Rod, there's plenty of places along St Johns to park the truck. Lots of other big trucks along there if you wanna come over.
