Cousin is going to buy a 350 for his 85 trans am.. curious on where to buy at, like a decent shop. And what will i need besides injectors for the TPI to work decent. thanks _________________ 1985 Z28. Don't know what im doing stupid 4th gen broke me.

Well as you know timmy I bought mine from schucks for 1200 with core, As far as what you need, 22lb injectors, afpr is helpful, new computer chip from 5.7 or a burned one, Really that's about it. You'll need a new Knock sensor as well. One from a 5.7 instead of a 5.0, then of course misc. shizzle that you break off. Might as well do headers and exhaust while it's out. Is his rig a auto or manual? If it's auto you'll also need a t-5, clutch assembly, the brackets and the cylinders for the clutch and all that good stuff  |
