Just so I'm clear on things, everybody's meeting on Saturday or Sunday? I want to meet up with Dewey and buy him a beer in exchange for those hood struts but I'm out of town until Sunday. Is there actually a get together on Sunday? And Jules, my wife will be there too (on Sunday). _________________ 90 RS, Eibach Springs, Spohn LCA's, LT1 cam, open element air filter, Dynomax Headers (thanks paul), 3.73 limited slip w/rear discs, B&M megashifter...so far |

If this is going to happen, then I'll need a head count and approx. time (within about 1/2 hr) when we'll want to eat! I don't mind doing it, but I planned for 12 people last time and only 6 showed up, well 5, Eric came later
Let me know soonest! PM, email, phone, whatever! |

ok, as far as on saturday, we can do it at the park (if the weather is good). mapquest the address that eric posted. when you get close by, look for the 65th street park entrance. you drive down the hill to toward the lake, then the road curves to the left. follow the signs to the beach (the road that runs closest to the lake).......when you get to the 'swiming area' (a shack w/ a little life guard tower) there are a bunch of BBQ shelters and what not. ill be getting there at around 4. you'll see a ugly yellow birdy parked in the parking lot.
any questions try and call eric or myself. my cell is 206-941-1429 (wont be able to answer till around 3:45ish on sat though due to work.) _________________

Alrighty.
For starters, Farshin and myself are heading the saturday camp. I am not sure on the status of Sunday, that is in Poncho's hands. (BTW Paul, I might make one of my late appearances again, so I might be there, but not for the actual dinner)
Now, we need to decide who will bring what for a BBQ. I imagine we need paper plates, food and drinks, and some condiments.
We can do a bring your own type of deal, or a potluck. Or the idea I am in favor is meeting up, taking down a list, then 3 guys getting in one car and making a grocery run. _________________

No head count yet. John, if you make it up here, even if the others don't play, I'll buy ya a beer! I won't be able to make a Saturday meet, so this might be the only time I get to meet some of you.
Let me know guys! I don't know what the weekend dining sked will be like there, but I'll bet things would be better with a reservation!
I'll even jump the gun by suggesting meeting at 3 - 3:30 to meet and greet, take pics (especially if Jess is coming!), talk cars and the like, then go in and eat at 4:30. That can put the travelers on the road around 6:30 - 7 (or so), avoiding the Seattle traffic, and still getting home at a reasonable hour.
Any other ideas? Better plan?

That will work for me, I am not picky (exept with my beer selection ), As long as someone is willing to put up with me staying at their house sunday night, I don't plan to head home until monday, so we can stay as late as we want, AFAIC. |
