Ok.. so i'm meeting a guy in a few day's to look at a '78 "Z-28"
the car has no z-28 logo on the outside (mind you i havn't seen the interior of the car yet) is there any way to tell if it's the real deal Z-28?
second gen's don't have the RPO codes anywhere inside the car do they? |

Decorative hood scoop is key, wasnt funtional till later on.
I had a 77 Z28, it had the decorative hood decal in the shape of a scoop. |

I think the 78's had the fender louvres? Should also have the 10 posi, sway bars front and rear and rear spoiler. Make sure it has the suspensio peices, it may be a Z28 but these peices can easely be removed and traded for lesser parts. I have had a couple late 70's Z28's and swapped lots of the parts around.
I have a set of factory glass t-tops and original Fischer bag in my garage that came off of a 79 if you want them. |
