so yesterday was a good day, me and my dad rook the carb off and gave it a good cleaning then put a new gasket on. after we put it all back together and tuned it a little it was running!! Very Happy we had it running for 35 min and no smoke!!! after we let it run for awhile me and dad took it out for a "spin" around the block (dont tell mom). we roasted the tires out of the drive way Burnout and down the block, we went around the block a couple of times and she was running strong Thumbs up evan the 4 barrells were opening up at wide open. but my best part of the day was when my dad gets out of my car and simpley says " Shocked god damn, she shure ain't a 4 banger". best ride of my life, i love my bird Very Happy

Laughing

That's awesome! I love the feeling of working hard on the 'bird and getting to blast around the block a bit afterwards triumphantly.

Victory lap FTW. Yup yup

Head gasket swap isn't as hard or expensive as you thought, huh?
