White smoke = head gasket
Blue smoke = engine rebuild
Blue smoke at startup = valve seals

In addition to Paul's questions: How does the oil look? Low? High? Milkshake? Is the coolant low or bubbly? Have you run a compression test on it yet?

Don't bother flushing. You're probably gonna have to dump it anyway. Do check to see if it's abnormally low though, as it's most likely getting pulled into a cylinder. Throw a compression tester on there to find out which cylinder is your problem.

You need to have someone pressureize the coolant system and see if it leaks.

You sure it's not the typical white smoke condensation in the exhaust being burnt off as steam? Look at my sig?

Take the heads off. Get new gaskets. Have the heads surfaced, maybe even valve grind since they're out.
