I took a measurement from the fenders to the carburetor on the BBC. It is 1" over towards the passenger side using the stock V8 motor mounts on the engine and chassis. Is this supposed to be like that????? I've never measured this before on an engine so I'm just making sure this isn't to compensate for the driver or something. I don't plan to do anything about it, just talking it out.

I know the v6 sat over to the pass side. Also, if you look at the dual snorkle on the v8, the TB outlet is not centered as well.

I think its normal for this car.

Driver weight was what we were thinking. Thanks for easing my mind.

What about the steering do you think it was for?
