I may have one sitting in my shop...I pulled one out of my car since I went carbed, my car is an 89 re that originally had a 305, but when i pulled out the ECM it had writing on it (appers to have come from JY) I think it say the year...86 or 87 v8 on it...your welcome to it...

| if your ECU is from an RS, then it was a TBI car, so it is a different computer than his 5.7 TPI would use. |

We've got plenty of stuff we can read data with. I have a cable here... didn't want to connect to Dewey's car, but it's the same design I've built 4 other times that work. Plus Dewey and Schultzy each have a cable I built somewhere. We can read with Tunerpro or Moates old school data logger.
I have an Auto-X-Ray also. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

sweet! that sounds great. yea i have to figure out why i cant read live data. and then go for their on "what i think" is a rough idle, and possibly a little under powered. but i could be crazy so im sure i can get some good input from you guys.
thanks _________________ 87 Camaro Z28 - Iroc-Z |

Yeah the dyno shop will show you what your fuel curve looks like at WOT.
Do you have the ability to tune yet? Or you just have a stock ECM/Prom setup? _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Lots of times the EGR wont throw a code as long as you have the noid connected. You should turn it off with the chip though. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

noid?
im assuming your not talking about injector noid lights haha.
nothing is hooked up for egr the egr itself is removed, the solinoid is gone, egr temp sensor unplugged everything just wires left hanging out. _________________ 87 Camaro Z28 - Iroc-Z |

Noid = Solenoid
EGR solenoid. It's what switches the vacuum on and off. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |
