Hello crew, after meeting the with the knower-of-all…The Dewey Lama, and getting a thumbs up.. I wanted to throw out the idea of offering Crew Gear. I have been in the Garment / manufacturing wearable business for 23 years and have excellent manufacturing connections for all types of gear. I am the west coast distributor of Flex Fit hats, North End Racing, Hanes, Jerseys, Dickies, Magic Headwear, all the major lines, in addition I have a full-scale production facility with full time embroidery and screen printing equipment / crews, as well as some garment manufacturing. I am not looking to make any money, my company does just fine! I would like to offer this as a member of a very unique club, who would like to see it continue to grow and stay solid. Proceeds will go to the club for things like the hosting for the web page, events, beer, important stuff!
The items will be very competitively priced, so hopefully there is something with the crew logo you can score. I have put a couple of items up for members to review, input is appreciated. Let’s keep it simple! Smile

The retail price is what some of my retail stores are selling the hat for with various logos.

The estimated price is what the crew would buy the item for with the embroidered logo.

• A-Flex Hat with Crew logo embroidered on the front estimated $12.00 (retail $21.95)
• Sandwich Bill Pro twill with Crew logo embroidered on the front estimated $10.00 (retail $18.95)
• Colors: Black, Red, Royal, White, Maroon (trying to keep it simple & easy access)
I can also sew Chevy or Pontiac on the back or Camaro or Trans Am, sorry can’t do both!
Adding that on the back would add about $1.50 to the price, so let me know.

• Heavy-Duty 100% cotton tee with embroidered logo $8.00 small – Xlarge
• 2Xl & 3Xl tee with logo $10.00 (I have up to 6XL)

• North-End racing jackets, bomber style, Red (shown) Royal, Yellow, Black, Gray available.
I can’t say enough great stuff about this jacket, it is used by lots of Pro race teams, cars / bikes,
it is SWEET, great in the NW crap, rain, wind, cold, I have 1 of every color, we use it at company events, very eye catching.
This would have the Crew logo on the left crest and either Chevy or Pontiac on the right crest, Small – Xlarge $40.00 2XL & 3XL $44.00 (Retail $100.00)

Cool deal Rich! I will for sure be interested in a least a couple of items. I will let some others speak up as to interest level. If we need to grab lunch again, and talk about some of the logistics, etc, we can sure do that.

Nice! Glad to hear the positive feed back!
Yea John, sounds great! logistics could be interesting!

I was thinking about getting some feed back on the gear posted and then working it from there. I also was trying to keep things basic, at least to start, and then modify from there...
Shortly after posting i thought..should've put a nice crew neck sweat on there..dah!

Hey Al thanks for the future order! I will meet with John next week and get the logistics dialed in and then start kicking it out!

Thanks for the input! Thumbs up
Rich

I'd be in for some swag.

My only request is that we keep the designs simple.

Never got into the obnoxious shirts you see associated with racing type gear.

Like this:
Ewwwww

Too busy and way too colorful. And that's even one of the better ones!

You mean you don't want a t-shirt with my mug on it? Confused

No, talking to Rich, it sounds like they will be simple, with the just the crew logo with the mountains.

Yea no gaudy bling here! The idea was to keep it clean, and use the traditional club logo, of the mountains and text / Cascade Crew; it can work on almost any item, and is appealing to most folks. Cool

Also I have stepped it up from screening to embroidery. Screening is great for big logos and such. The logo will be 3 to 4 thread colors; I will have a JPG proof next week and will post that for members to take a look at as well.

Depending on the color of the item, I will blend thread colors to combine nicely with maybe an accent color on the item. Also the logo will be set up for a stand alone hat or left crest, and that will leave the right crest of the item for the vehicle type if the members would like that.

Such as: Camaro / Trans Am / Formula / GTA / Fire Bird / I am attempting to keep it basic, so that the cost is minimal and production is smooth, but I don’t want to leave any makes out of the offerings.

I understand that there are some ladies in the club, so I am throwing a couple of items out there for review. Hail hail Both items are huge retail movers in the Jr’s and ladies markets, once again I am looking for input so the items offered are appealing to the ladies!
Thanks for the positive input!
Rich

Shocked Nice and NICE. I think I could get my misses to sport one of those. Very Happy She has that tall/long thing about her. 6'0" and 140. Hard to find fitted clothes these days for tall skinny people for some reason.

Hey Blue, yes i do have ladies gear that will fit your misses, and look great! Yea I agree some of the retail stuff is tailored on a short cut, and for the ladies 5' 8" it can be a pain for sure!
Thanks for the input!

I'm kind of with paul, with keeping the logo simple.

I'm thinking of a small logo by the RH breast area.....but I'm open to whatever the group likes best.

Rich,

Could we consider a possibility for a hooded Sweatshirt with a crew logo? I'd definately buy one of those!

Absolutety on the hoddies! i have those from now until ever! do you like the full zip or the pullover? I am looking for input from the crew as to other items, by no means are we stuck with the couple of items i posted! Let me know what works for you...no problem! Very Happy

As far as the logo goes it will be a left crest, roughly 3.5" across so the detail is crisp and it sews out nice, nothing gaudy, just clean-crisp quality! That way if you want you Camaro or TA etc...that goes on the right crest. the left crest is normally the prodominent logo side.

I did get a look at the rought today...IT IS HOT! well at least from my view point!

Thanks again for the comments...the door is always open!
Rich
