Well, my fourthgen Z had an SLP exhaust, the Loudmouth 1. It was quite loud. Don't get the SLP LM2 though, it's much quieter.

Here is the best youtube video I could find of the sound it makes. Turn your speakers as far up as you can to get the full effect. Yes, it really was that loud, and it sounded good just driving too.

I know it's an LT1 instead of LS1, but it should still sound pretty close.

The exhaust consisted of straight stainless 3 inch pipe, no muffler or cat, just a resonator halfway down the pipe. Twisted Evil

Borla is going to be quiet. They are a full case muffler.

If you want loud you'll have to go with Bullet style glasspack or race mufflers.

Moroso Spiroflows right at the bumper are pretty loud..... Ask Schultzy.

Straight pipe with long tubes? My LT1 sounded pretty dang good with shorties and a flowmaster. Had a nice low rumble but woke right up when you raised the rpm and throttle.
