Driving school is gonna run you at least $450. You can thank our wonderful state government for that. All subsidies for drivers-ed in high school were eliminated, therefore almost every school district canceled their program.

Honestly though, I'd just drop the cash. Once you see your first insurance premium for a male driver under 21, the cost of drivers-ed will look like chump change. Laughing

Holy shat! You can't do it in school anymore? The only time I could do it was before school so I had to be there a 6am every day for a 45 minute class. Yikes!

Can't remember how much training was when I took it, but Michigan required it to be taught in public schools. It was (if memory serves) two weeks during the summer. I think it was part of the high school curriculum.

I know a few people that have and do work at Best Buy. Tip, when you take the online application that asks you how you feel about certain things, either answer fully that you love them or hate them, nothing in between.

When I was in school I took a drivers ed class as an elective. It was only the book work. never took a driving class. just took the written test then started driving on the permit, think total cost was like 50.00 for the permit and road test. I thought that was high till both my son and now daughter went through it is 300 bucks lol. When their kids go through it will require a 30 yr fixed rate mortgage Rolling Eyes

wow, i only had to pay $230, like 2.5 years ago Smile

that was at Nennis driving school on South Tacoma Way in Tacoma, he was a good teacher, but he retired....

you should look for a small business like that instead of a huge corporation like 911 driving school, i read that it was cheaper that way....

and 911 driving school people like to harass me so you shouldnt go there Surprised
