The main set of tools I use came in a plastic craftsman tool box(like a 200 pc set) and I have used it in this for past 10 years or so. Well a few weeks ago it broke at the junkyard.
I've been looking around for new storage and keeping in mind that I take alot of these tools with me to the junkyard. My toolboxes here at the house are already full as well.
So what do you use for storage at the house, as well when going to the junkyard? Ive bought magnetic socket trays, they dont work for crap. Dad had some metal socket rails that you snap them into...I didnt care for them much. Then how to transport all this crap when you go away from home?

I have a tackle box thing that I use all the time. Just load a random set of wrenches in it and off i go. It's small enough that I can just barely put my 12" cresent wrench in it, 3/8 ratchet, sockets, wrenches, and random stuff. _________________ E30

It's just a temporary spot to hold tools. If I could find one I'd get one like this:

I used something similar to that this past weekend. It would need a shoulder strap so you could keep your hands free.
But it still doesnt keep your sockets n wrenches organized. |

| Nope. I keep my sockets on those old school metal strips so they all stay together. Are your's all loose? I couldn't stand that. |

The metal strips is what I refured to above. Didnt care much for them as they would slide off the ends After alot of use they would not stick on the studs.
Right now I have some of them in magnetic trays. Them things are about useless. |

That's like the bags our electricians on the boat used, only they were green, those are awesome bags. _________________ 92 Camaro
