LOL, that was pretty funny. That reminds me of a time when I was on the starting line at work and some import car, either an STi or MKII Supra launched really hard and WHAM! the drivers airbag goes off on him. I couldn't stop laughing, even when I was asking if he was OK and pushing his car off the line.

I like it. Laughing Even if it was rigged. How hard would you have to hit it to actually do that?

A lady that use to work in our office, her husband bought a hummer back when that was the "cool" thing to do. He was driving down the interstate few months after purchase and hit one of our large potholes(aka craters) and blew both airbags.

Onstar came on asking questions about getting in a wreck, bla bla bla. He told them no wreck, they just popped.

Had it towed in. Gave loaner. Few days later they called him back and told him to pick ANY car on the lot and would give him a killer deal on it. Said he wanted his hummer back. Guess they told him he would not be getting HIS hummer back, but could pick out any one on the lot. Pokey pokey

*fingers crossed* I have never seen a bag go off in person.

That's not a real air bag. The deployment is much more violent than that. Besides, they wouldn't have gotten interested in taping until after they heard the horn blow.

I have my own grandma experience.....

I was driving on icy roads in Anderson, IN during a business trip. I came up to an intersection where a school bus full of kids was coming from the opposite direction. The driver was a white haired old lady. She wanted to turn left and started to drift over and turning. I figured I'm not playing chicken with a bus on ice so I slowed down. She stopped and I kept driving through. When we passed she scowled at me and gave me the finger! Right in front of all those kids!!! My co-workers said I should turn around and challenge her to a fist fight, but they would have put money on her.

We've all been given bad signals on the road... but how many people can say they got flipped off my an old lady driving a school bus full of kids? Laughing
