Sometimes things sell when you raise the price. Make it too cheap and people get suspicious.
That's what I did with a car a couple years ago. Tried to sell for $2100. No interest for months. Raised the price to $2800 and I sold it for $2300. |

Made me chuckle also.
I seem to remember a hydrolock incident involving pushing the car and popping the clutch multiple times to get it to spin over... Eventually... |

| Ok so I just looked at that link, Portland CL. Looked at Camaros I have come to the conclusion that either I got a heck of a deal on mine at 1300 or they are way overpriced in Portland and I need to think about selling mine down south |

| Yes, it is much better than your normal rubber transmissions. Firmer shifts, and better wear, as the rubber gears have problems with wearing out. |

Well This weekend I will be installing a new trans mount. since I will have it all unbolted any way should I git me one of them thar polyurethane transmissions or just keep the rubber 700r4.
Well seriously as far as mounts go, is the poly one worth the extra money. I see them online for around 30.00 OEM was 6.00 at schucks. This is my DD and not a race car by any means. |

Dang! I want to be in the 10's. Guess I have been trying too hard.
I should just buy that car because as it is I am going to put a big chunk of that much money back into a new bottom end for my wimpy 11 sec car.

Mike I think what you might be missing here is water, and a polyurithane transmission. Try dumping water in the intake, then hydrolock the crap out of it. That should make you run in the mid 10's at least. Not sure where to find a a urithane transmission though. I mean honestly that kid is a tool shed. _________________ Thirdgenless |

Schmucks sells the ES poly mount and most will price match summit and the like, I'd opt for the poly just because of how often the rubber ones rip apart.
I don't know I'd go so far as to call him a tool shed, he was a little misguided and anxious to be the fastest guy on the road. Weren't we all like that a little bit at some point? Just seems like he didn't get the help that some of us got. By "help" I mean horsepower humbling of watching a truly fast car pull away from you.

Yeah, he acted like a tool shed... |
