I don't know how many of you have ever noticed how dull my taillights were, they were pretty bad. Ever since I bought the car I had always planned on spending a day or two sanding, buffing, polishing to get them perfect. Because on projects like that I'm kind of a perfectionist and hate it if it's not 100%. Well I bought the car almost 5 years ago and I still hadn't done ANYTHING to the lights. My co-worker had this Flitz polishing kit from one of those AS SEEN ON TV stores that he swore by. Told me it'd shine them up quickly. I was really hesitant on using some random product on my lights because of how hard it would be to find decent replacements. The other day I finally got off my ass and tried a bit of the stuff on my old style TA taillights and low and behold it worked pretty damn well! So I spent a grand total of ten minutes per taillight polishing them and think I got pretty good result!

This is the kit he has.

Came with a buffing ball that goes on a drill, the polish and some wax but I didn't use the wax.
You can still see a few imperfections here and there but for a half hours worth of work (including pulling the taillights off and washing them as well as behind them) _________________

looks great Ian!
Will that polish work on just plastic stuff, or could it be used on other parts? _________________

| The package says it works on anything. Actually it says it works on Metal, and then in the smaller print it says okay for plastics. |
