Friday, I won a raffle at work for some tickets to yesterday's Mariner game. Although they lost, they played a decent game, but according to the rest of my group, the highlight was the end of opening ceremonies. A pair of Chinook helicopters from McChord AFB performed a flyby at roof level, coming from the waterfront area. For all appearances, it looked like the flew right over the football field next door prior to flying over our heads at Safeco Field. My seats were behind home plate and looking down 3rd base line and I could see the arches over Qwest Field next door.

I snapped a few pics, but this turned out best....

They've flown over my house refueling at about that height... amazing watching that big jet that slow and low.
