Dude, stop trying to show off. You were roasting the tires with one hand rocking the devils horns out the window and didn't keep an eye on the tach, weren't you?!

Seriously though, that sucks! What happened?

Won't really know more until i pull the engine and tear it down. Not likely that I will get away without pretty good carnage inside.

I was just running it up in first, guessing 6k or so, and shifted and *poof* smoke show. Looked over at oil pressure - still good. Had to drive about 1 block to get into Fred Meyer parking lot. Shut her down and then watched the oil start gushing out from underneath like someone slit her throat Crying or Very sad

Certainly wasn't abusive by my standards. I had several 6500 rpm+ shifts Tuesday night with Paul in the car testing out the fresh tranny. No noises, she just let go.

Insert choice swear words here. Thanks for the support.

Regardless, she will be back. Just not sure in what configuration.

This is all that is needed in this thread.

Sorry to see it happen Mike, hopefully it's not as bad as expected, you have gone too far with it to have it be completely trashed
