we had a discussion a few weeks back about a honing tool and you guys were calling it dinglebarry or something.

Do they make a smaller version of that for say brake pistons n such?

Reason I ask is I'm getting a new set of cast TPI runners in and I want to smooth the inside of them out. I cant seem to find a flexable shaft locally for a drill. Then it becomes what tool do I use for the end of it? I am thinking the hole will be to big for my dremel?

Any ideas?

They do make smaller versions. The good thing about them is they dont remove much material, so i'm not sure if thats what you want. For porting work I bought a sears rotozip type tool. You can get it with a flex shaft that will hold dremel type bits. The tool itself will handle 1/4" bits like carbides or 1/8" dremel bits. Plus it does alot of other things.

I already have the flexshaft for the dremel.

So the hone tool likely wouldnt do what I want tell I get the main part down and try to start smoothing it out.

grrr.
