Went to the races Friday and then Schultzy and I went Sunday. Had a blast. The sub 2.0L cars were the best to watch. Boy were thay fast. I'll commentate on them later. Took forever for comcast to "make public" stupid comcastic. In this series of nostalgia racing, if you cause an accident you get banned for a year. Even the owner/prez whatever of Wal-Mart got banned.

That Lotus would look so much better in a different color.

I agree. The yellow one would look SO much better in blue.
Pauly, I think we need to get you an open-wheel racer, you look at home in that thing. |

The Yellow Lotus was actually lime green. Camera went on a fritz for a few pictures.
Yes. I'm thinkin for sale sign in the C-Vette, pay off some bills, start The Lotus 7. : O)
I worked on the #153 Shelby Mustang. Just turned the rotors and repacked the bearings. It's in one of the pictures of the pits up there. |

You need to build something other than a 7... that was my plan. Could find a used honder engine, and build an Ariel Atom from scrath, it can't be THAT hard.... |

Yeah I definitely enjoyed all the racing too, but 9+ hours a day sitting on hard bleachers in direct sunlight didn't serve too well for my skin nor my cushy side. You didn't get to see the NASCAR crash did you? I got all the behind the scenes info of what was going on and when during the races. The reason why that NSX powered Sport Car had to pit and lose the lead was because his left door was open, thus costing him the race. I didn't get any pictures though. I served as the Sound Officer for the series. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

I saw that each time the Acura came down into the festival curves the driver side door came open a little bit.
Where was the Nascar crash? We were at the last bleacher in the festival curves. Saw lots of spins but only a few minor taps as far as crashes go. LOTS of near misses.
Was fun day. I was going to post the few pics that I took last night but camera was being stupid. I will add them when I can.
