				| Actually.. i'm on vista right now and it works fine. Only difficulty i have with it, is a driver problem with my dvd writer that keeps me from updating to sp1. Dvd writer works fine though. |

It's a 100% failure rate. The ones that MS claims haven't failed are guys like me who fixed their own rather than send them back.

Still a good idea to ship 'em in as long as MS is paying for it. |

I love my PS3 so far. Haven't had any problems what-so-ever and the online PS store sells old school games! I bought Mortal Combat and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and played them non-stop. Paid $5-6 each and downloaded them to my harddrive. PS3 = Happiness. _________________ E30

Honestly, I hated GT4. That series hasn't been good since GT2 came out for the PS1. Forza 2 is where it's at right now. |

I like the games and the play of the xbox. I use it as much for a media hub as for games though. When the machine works its great. But there's just not reason I should be on box #4 in 3 years, with casual play. All boxes have failed with the rrod. This last box has lasted the longest, it wasnt a refurb, somehow I got sent a new box. Think this one is about a year or so. My first box never would connect to the pc at all.. fought and fought it. Finally gave up. When it rrod'd finally, the new box come and it immediatly linked right to my pc. No problem at all. So evidently it was something in that first box broke right off the bat. This last box tried to scratch the first game I put in it. After that very first play though it quit that. I'll probably throw a burned cd in the next one first lol. Much cheaper then a new game. They are getting their warranty stuff figured out better finally. This time I'm getting a month of xbox live, 3months warranty extension etc. I argued the last 2 times that they had my box for a month.. I payed for xbox live gold that i wasnt getting. Didnt matter to them. I also hear there's a new tool coming out this month to reset your d/l'd games to the new serial. I hope so cause thats always been a big pia as well. Deb has a different gamer tag then me, and the d/l'd games were on my tag. So she couldnt play any of them without using my tag. Last couple times I got ms to give me more points to rebuy the games so that they'd lock to the new console.

One last thing. Lookin at the xbox web site. Looks like all the refurbs now come with a new Opus motherboard which uses the falcon cpu but the old gpu. So no hdmi but better chip and cooling, stuck in the old case. This also requires a new power supply.. probably why they asked that I send this one back this time. First time they've asked that. |

				| ive had my 360 for over a year and have been trouble free. i dont play everynight but when i do play its usually for 4-6 hrs. the only thing i dont like about it is with a few games it seems to make the drive spin fast and sound liked its gonna shoot outta the side of it. |

I agree, I had a solstice with a ls swap in it. That was fun to drive with all the traction control off. _________________ Thirdgenless |

I don't think your solstice actually drove down the track, more like drifted sideways somewhere on or near the track.

That game is all kinds of beautiful. The 360 is too much money though, I'd rather buy a better graphics card and ram for my PC. _________________
