So right now instead of trying to dump money into my 89 RS as my daily, I've decided all monies now go to the Iroc-Z. So Right now i'm looking for new exhaust..

Right now there is stock manifolds, y-pipe, 3" y-pipe to flowmaster 80. Previous owner(s) Had 3" welded onto the y-pipe to the cat, then to the muffler and the muffler's elbows are not rotted out and the whole set-up sounds horrible...

Any suggestions? i don't really want to do headers because i don't know how to tune my own prom...So looking to sticking with stock manifolds but new y-pipe back.

I just want something that's gonna give it a nice throaty sound but not so loud its obnoxious. I know exhaust is a lot of personal preference but i havent heard many camaro's that have anything other than Flowmaster's

Before I put my LTs on I just ran a "highflow cat" and 3" pipe back to a standard welded Magnaflow muff with 2.5" tips that are hidden by the bumper. It's got a little burble at idle and opens up fairly well at WOT. I've gotten lots of compliments from everyone. Domesitc drivers to import drivers.

You can hear it at the beginning of this clip.

i've had the flowmaster 3" on my third gen bird, 3" magna flow on my LT1 transam, SLP loudmouth on my LT1 camaro, and 3.5" borla on my LS6 Z28......i love the borla, but for the price i'd go magnaflow without a doubt. they sound GREAT! simple as that. magnaflow sounds good on everything i've ever heard with them. and it's pretty cheap.
