Although, the iMac mouse sucks. Going to plug in my old PC mouse. |

Have a Macbook (the one I started with) and a Mac Pro.
Have fun.

I personally don't like Apple products. I've grown up working with Apple computers because that is what my school district uses and I don't care for them. Not to mention most people have windows at home so if I ever had to finish a paper or project out of school I'd get screwed and have to start over. But if you like them, that's cool. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

To each his own. I doubt your school was using the newer macs with intel processors. I can run as many virtual windoze machines as I like without ever having to restart my mac. If so inclined, I can also boot either mac as a windows machine; not emulating, it becomes a windows machine.
Software was one of the main reasons I never tried them before. I installed parallels for virtual machine capability for that reason. Quite frankly, the majority of the compatibility that I need is for windows - word, excel, powerpoint. I recently aquired Office for Mac 2008 and have not had to start up a windows virtual machine in quite a while.
Not really a fan boy but have definitely become a fan. Two years of not messing with BSOD, registry settings, freezes... ya, I am a happy boy.

Is this where I post a picture of a Penguin?
I keed, OS X is descent, they all have their upsides and downsides. I think if I was to do it, I would get the new Dell XPS, and tripple boot with linux/OS X/winders, and then I could use whatever fit my need of the day.
