Well, technically a Mercury.
'63 Monterey two-door with the Breezeway hardtop. Hopefully a nice little summer project.
The car was restored about seven years ago, but it was sold to some dingus who ruined the interior, and blew the engine. It purportedly has a 390-GT from a '68 Mustang, pushing a built C6 to a narrowed 3.50 9-inch, but I wont know for sure until I pull it.

the dingus in question wouldn't be the guy you bought it from would it lol.
I hope so. There is nothing like buying something from a guy that either doesn't know what he has or isn't smart enough to know that it is a 1.95 fix and so you get a jewl for a song.
Looks like a nice find. I've always liked those old cars from the 40's through 60's nothing like the feeling of being wrapped in steel. |

Nah, the car was actually abandoned in my buddy's driveway, and after a little work I tracked down the guy who actually owned it (not the guy who blew it up and dumped it).

I dunno. I feel a lot safer in a modern car that has novel things like seatbelts and safety glass. |

Very nice aaron!
I've owned a couple early 60's Fairlanes before I bought my Camaro.

Very nice. I hope you intend to do something about the zip ties holding the motor together I don't think they'll last very long _________________ 92 Camaro

Yeah, that was my attempt to keep everything together while it rode over here on the flatbed. Ziptied exhaust manifolds probably wouldn't work to well. |
