I have constantly had bad luck on or around holidays. Mainly the 4th of july.

Well, this year strikes as usual. A storage unit I rent was broke into within the past week. I am about halfway thru cleaning the ransack and this is the list so far.

Craftsman 7'ish drawer tool box with various body repair tools(hammers, dollys, sheers, puller, etc).
25'ft roll of 1/2" copper pipe.
set of 17x7 10spoke grand prix wheels
(2) kenwood 10disk changer
1 gamers power supply unit for a pc.
trash bag full of gallon milk jugs and 2liter bottles Confused

Then all sorts of glass items broke, boxes ripped open and misc shizzle broken.

Things they passed up
Craftsman roll around tool chair brand new
roll around engine dolly
16x8 camaro wheels with z rated racing tires
big aluminum storage box
SLP posi unit (got thrwn on the floor Evil or Very Mad )

Good news, they already have a suspect. A-holes hit another unit as well... possibly more to come.

Sorry, gotta vent Mad Mad

They're not all that bad. It's only that select few that gives everyone else the bad rap. (like the 10% or so of motorcycle riders).

I hate that stuff too, hope they get caught as well.

Not all people are bad. I've learned some things in my years on this planet.

1. Never trust anyone
2. Stereo types are made for a reason. But not all people of that race/sex are that way(but alot are)
3. Never trust anyone
4. Keep your crap where you live. Its covered under insurance better. And you can keep an eye on it daily.

I found out how long I have been at this unit. Shocked I could have bought everything 3x for as much as I have paid for storage. I gotta figure out how to get rid of this bill.

I started with 4 bags of trash, and I'm going back likely every night this week.

That sucks, thieves can kiss my well armed ass.

I was in the same boat for the last 4 years paying $80 a month for a storage unit to house a few car parts for me and 3,267 boxes of Christmas decorations for Jenn.

We found this literally next door one day last fall for sale, paid for it's self in 6 months.

I wish the city would allow that. Every car on the property has to be tagged, insured, and if its outside.... start and driveable.

But then also the dopeheads in our area would try that. They check cars weekly.

I think we just need a bigger "shop", but the swimming pool takes up the yard.

I had a unit once. Small very secure looking place. Codes to get in, whole nine yards. Some one drilled the door out on my unit.. .Stole half a T5 and some Grid Taillights. Left the rest, including a speaker box w/ speakers.

They wouldn't even look at the camera's to see who was logged in at the time a Transmission was hauled out of the unit!

Damn.

The manager claims she is going to look at video footage. Ive been at that place for 10 years. They better atleast look for me.

But yea, fenced in
coded access
atleast 5 cameras I know of

Someone cut my lock, and replaced it with another. Same with the other unit that got broke into. Wonder how many more got hit?
