Hehe, I had just sprayed it down to wash the dust off when I took those pictures, the paint is pretty much shot. It is an 87 with the L98 that someone forgot to put antifreeze in. Block is cracked, someone made off with the transmission. Interior is so so.
I paid $280 for it and kinda figured I could make most of that back selling the wheels off of it. I mostly want the TPI and harness out of it for Jen's Firebird and the 9 bolt for my car if I can find a set of 3.70's to put in it. Also has the PBR brakes on the rear end. Maybe the GTA seats for Jen's car if we can recover them like Brandon did. Also the 140 mph speedo for Jen's car. If the guy I bought it from does come through with the title this week I might be willing to sell it as a roller dirt cheap.
I really can't keep it since I don't have room here, and my dad is getting kinda mad about the 4 I have stashed at his place. |

Rod, I'd crush that 82 Camaro you gave me the hood off of before I'd crush that GTA.
Someone's gotta buy this. It'd be a terrible waste to crush it. _________________

It needs alot more than a drivetrain to be nice. All I would have to come up with is a decent 350 shortblock and then put the heads and TPI on it. I have a good 700R4 that came out of Jen's car. Then what do I have? Maybe a $1500 car to sell. If I'm spending that much time pulling and stabbing engines it will be on my red IROC, rebuilding that engine.
Here are some better pics, like I said those last night was right after I washed the dirt off of it and it looked good wet.

i want that steering wheel and horn button... and of course the wheels i have already PMed you about. i also would not mind the tail lights and center, and the nose GTA badge. i want to make a key ring out of it. also would not mind the fog light switch, and other switches on the dash, or the gage lens if it's not broken. i could be interested in some of the rear interior plastics too.
i know Paul needs a rear hatch interior piece thats black. _________________ 86' firebird (Junked in 2015). 88' GTA (sold in 2020).
