"experimental 16" aluminum alloy wheels"

also known as Buick wheels. Wink

and after that, Pontiac Wheels.

then Chevy jumps on board, behind BOP as it usually is.

I liked that video. Makes me happy to see them brand new. I like those wheels too! By far my favorite rim EVER.

So to me, it was a B4C, with a t56, 3.42 gears, and looked like custom runners?

It wasn't a T56, it was a ZF6 'Vette tranny. They also chipped it, and went with factory headers. All a moot point since all that work barely got the L98 up to the level of the LT1, but still a nice find on the video.

i like the way that narrator talks, he did the car and driver tv of the 87 ASC convertibles too.

"see how much bettter bettttter can be" he uses long Ts. it's weird.

Crosslace wheels pretty much look good on any 3rd gen reguardless of trim level.

I'd kind of like to find a set for my car, but people want a lot of $$ for em.

Its fairly easy to make your car handle way better man. Just get some bigger bars and a urethane kit. It will do wonders even with soft springs. And once you have a better suspension you can really feel your soft tires give.

Agreed. My 89 with WS6 springs, urethane bushings and big sway bars is quite stiff. It's no beast though with just over 150HP at the wheels. A lot of the time, handling will make up for horsepower, especially on the twisties Wink

Saw that car in person one year at the PNWCC All Camaro show at BCC. It was part of the Camaro Legends Tour that Chevy trucked in. They also brought a 3rdgen with an LT5 stuffed into it! Shocked Cool

the 87 ASC video says that the Iron heads were used on fbodys due to thier not being an Air conditioning system designed for the aluminum corvette heads... so according to car and driver TV corvettes with 1st generation small blocks can't have AC. Rolling Eyes

they report what GM spoon feeds them. Laughing
