Wow. Wonder what kind of condition it's in...

ROH ZS's look good in black...

You know you're bored when you're looking at thirdgens on craigslist. I had to get away from looking at old school datsuns. I really want a 2dr 510.

It's Steel's car. I guess the gas bill for it caught up to him. Hard to run your race car as your daily.

Somebody should jump on that '88 Formy though, that thing is sexy as sin.

Wow. I just read the post he made about that again, and realized that he fixed the hydrolock by push-starting it with the plugs still in, and then running Seafoam through it. No no no...

It's a shame because it's a nice looking RS too.

It would actually be a lot easier than my swap since you don't need a new crossmember, an expensive shifter, or a wierd backwards clutch.

I'm running an LT1 style T-56. Do a couple searches and you should find info on the swap I did, the swap Tony did (T-5) and Paul's LS1 T56.

I think we've messed up Ian's topic enough, although you can start a new topic if you're curious about the swap.

I just bought an '86 T/A from a guy on Craig's list for $900! The engine is in pieces and I probably need a new long block (unless I want to put a 305 in it, then I could use his rebuilt heads) and it needs paint but other than that its cherry (right Ian?!) I even got an extra set of wheels (ASAs with Kumo rubber) and a crap load of extra parts. In fact we filled TJ's blazer with all of the extra crap! So you see, it pays to keep a watchful eye on Craigs List! Wink

I'd just take that block to parts plus on 84th/S.Tacoma Way. I think they still do block machining. I had my old 400 setup there.

Didn't look too bad and hopefully you can just have it honed to clean up the cylinder walls.

I would go to the NAPA on 96th and pacific. the guy who used to work @ 84th and STW now know as parts plus was the $hit. He now works @ 96th and pacific, his name is Dave. Great guya & he really helped me out with many of my rebuilds!

I think the majority of the base Firebirds in '91 and '92 had the ground effects.. and they could be had with the L03 Throttle body 5.0L or a MPI 3.1L

Yeah, I think it's rather rare to see base birds WITHOUT gfx. All I ever see are ones with.

That car is the splitting image of the one I test drove when I was 16.
