Plans are me and my dad and a couple friends from our local car club up here are gonna go drag at PIR this Wednesday. Anyone who wants to come by, we'll be around. Love to have you come, if you're in the area!
We'll probably be there 'til dark or so, get as many runs in as we can
So you can find us...
I'll be most likely in my loud green 94 Z28.
Dad will probably have his black 78 Corvette.
Might be a friend of ours with a black 99 Trans Am there too.
Hope to see somebody there!
Updates as plans firm up a bit more. |

Just be aware that Wednesday's are only 1/8th miles and that's when we run out bracket racing so there won't be a lot of guys running T/O's. Other then that, hope to see you out there! _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

Which PIR are you talking about. Portland Internation. Or Pacific Raceway?

We're going down to Portland International. First time to that track for us, we had no clue it was only 1/8th mile this Wednesday... Schedule on the web site doesn't say anything about that.
We're pretty much noobs when it comes to drag racing, there's no track near us up here. I still like it though... I'm sure even an 1/8th will be fun.
And what do you mean by T/O's? |

I think me means Time Only?
Fri/Sat night drags are 1/4 mile. You should have come down a few weeks ago when Brandy and I had a get together out our place specifically for racing. |

Oh, OK, I'll keep that fri/sat quarter mile thing in mind.
I was gonna come down that weekend you all went, but I had to work those days So we're going down this Wednesday, and I'm sure it'll still be fun and a learning experience to run the 1/8th. It's rare that me and my dad ever get concurrent days off, so we gotta take advantage when we can to do things together!
Hope to maybe see one or two of you guys there! |

Enjoy the trip. It is cool that you and your dad will be spending some time together.
I would come and meet you but will be packing/last minute arrangements for Cows.
Good luck at the track.

The Drag races have been CANCELED today, Wednesday, May 28th. So don't come out today, I'd hate for you guys to waster your time and gas. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S
