|
|
i did this about a month ago. the holder is for my phone, which has "Telenav" on it, allowing me to use it for GPS directions. i have been using it alot. you may also notice that is not a UQ7 gain switch in the next spot over, it's a fog light switch. it is now the "toggle" for my radiator cooling fan. right after i installed this the damn sensor went out again, so it's a good thing i got it all buttoned up nice, i have been using it alot.
i wish NAPA made electronics that were not crap. i guess i am gonna go with a dealer cooling switch now..
BTW notice the picture on my phones background. _________________ 86' firebird (Junked in 2015). 88' GTA (sold in 2020).

Pfft. I like that about my car. Turn the car on to warm up or something, lock it and take the keys with me. Or even open the trunk while the car is running until I put the power trunk release in.
Although sometimes I forget that I've taken the keys out and get to my destination wondering why I have no keys.
Tony, the mount looks good; simple. _________________

Clean. Almost unnoticeable until you you put the the phone on it. I'm sure that phone is capable, now all you need is a bluetooth handsfree device installed for it Mine turns off the radio (actually the amp) when I get an incoming call, or anytime I use the phone. Again, nice job. _________________ 92 Camaro

well, about 40 days of bumpy LA roads made quick work of this. the mount broke yesterday. my work is fine.. it was the mount itself, it fell off it's clip. what a piece of crap.
now i need a new dead pannel with no hole in it.
completely off topic, but funny: i had a dream i ran 12s last night. it was one of those dreams where you wake up disoriented thinking it actually happened, i was all excited about getting the "12 second club" moniker under my user name. weird huh. |

It is going to take more than that, to get rid of the rodeo queen title.
