Hi guy/gals,
Well Today I finally got around to repalcing my heater core, what a pain that was...also I've noticed that my defrost switch dosn't kick on anymore, wonder if during the 350 carb swap/computer/wiring harnes removal I disconnected something? (worked before) Anyway looking at the plug, looks like this;
- -
x - x = blank spot
- -
With the key on I have power in the middle right wire and left bottom. is this correct? what about the other three?
Edit: Anybody know how to test the switch, or have one?
Thanks guys,
Ken
Edit: my picture of the plug moved... _________________

| Yeah I have the same problem. The original switch in my car broke and I replaced with one from the junk yard. Which then proceeded to brake again in less that a week. You might be better off using an after market switch. |

Yup, the one in my 89 only stays on about a minute, supposed to be like 5 minutes. Found one in the JY, but it does the same thing. Maybe time to buy new? _________________ 92 Camaro

Love to try it out, would be willing to pay all shipping charges and what ever you want for the switch...

From what I understand the switch is a timer. the first time you hit it, it should lsat about 10 mins, then any second hits will be shorter... _________________
