Hi guy/gals,
Well Today I finally got around to repalcing my heater core, what a pain that was...also I've noticed that my defrost switch dosn't kick on anymore, wonder if during the 350 carb swap/computer/wiring harnes removal I disconnected something? (worked before) Anyway looking at the plug, looks like this;
- -
x - x = blank spot
- -
With the key on I have power in the middle right wire and left bottom. is this correct? what about the other three?

Edit: Anybody know how to test the switch, or have one?
Thanks guys,

Ken

Edit: my picture of the plug moved...

Yeah I have the same problem. The original switch in my car broke and I replaced with one from the junk yard. Which then proceeded to brake again in less that a week. You might be better off using an after market switch.

Stupid switches.

Yup, the one in my 89 only stays on about a minute, supposed to be like 5 minutes. Found one in the JY, but it does the same thing. Maybe time to buy new?

Love to try it out, would be willing to pay all shipping charges and what ever you want for the switch...

Ken

From what I understand the switch is a timer. the first time you hit it, it should lsat about 10 mins, then any second hits will be shorter...
