Fired up the beast and took it to the store since it was dry out. My odometer seemed to be running very very slow and my speedometer was not working at all. I think it was showing maybe 3mph.
What gives?
I had some ricer dude in a WRX try and give me the ricer behind challenge. I dropped it first and ...... well let's just say no contest
OK, never mind. My moates chip adapter was not seated correctly as the ecm fell out of place All is good. |

my guess is that somewhere your VSS singal is getting interuped. It could be at the tranny, or the buffer box, or the dash. If you have a scan tool, check and see if your ECU is recording a speed. The signal goes to both the ECU and the dash, so that is any easy way to tell if the VSS is at least giving a signal at all.

Well, I was lucky as my problem was an easy fix. The velcro that holds the ecm in place was not properly seated and my ecm fell a few inches. My chip in the moates addapter was moved out of place.
The guy in the wrx did not even want to come close to me after I got on the throttle in first gear! |
