It's official, winter can kiss our a**!!

In the last week we have had three major snow storms in a row. It is either snowing or so freakin cold that all we can do is shovel and try and keep our critters alive. This weekend we got another 8" or so and by this morning it was sunny and 6*. Best I can tell we have 24"-26" of snow in the untraveled areas.

This picture is two weeks old, back when there was only about 14" of snow accumulated in the yard.

Joe and Mistsy are pissed too.

These are from yesterday. I just parked my blue car there Monday when we got home.

That's my engine stand poking out of the snow.

Our fence is almost gone.

Yikes, that is a lot of snow. Is this a very abnormal ammount of snow for down there? I am now sure how much snow you normally get.

It kind of varies John. This is above average but not unheard of. When I was a kid we had a bad winter like this in 92 -93 and our total snowfall for the year was well over 100". Then we can have a winter like last year when I never even had to get my snowplow going. I haven't seen what our total for the winter is yet, all I know is we're running out of places to pile it.

Yipes.

That's quite a bit of snow. I heard the area around Detroit lake got like 15 inches, over the last week.
