i was reading some old mag articles on thirdgen, and during my reading of "89 F-body build up" they mention something about an air foil that goes in the throttle body on tpi cars.
anyone heard or done this?

it sounds like a nice and easy mod. _________________ we all gotta start somewhere....

My car came with it already on there so I have no idea what its "performance" gains would be. I guess it helps direct the air better but not sure if you would tell a difference. Maybe better gas millage. _________________ Thirdgenless |

they make it sound like an option of some kind.
i'd like to know what it to see if i have it or not.
(i'm going to guess "not" and would like to put one on if i don't.) _________________ we all gotta start somewhere.... |

It goes between the openings on the TB. Its pointed instead of "flat" in that area.
You can see pics of them on ebay.
Test have been done on TGO. It gives a few more cfm. |

Had one when I bought my car. Took it out for kicks, and there is no noticable difference. Left it in since it can't hurt much.
It was never an option that I know if, and it's not worth the $60 they charge for the aftermarket ones. |

The individual test show it will help it flow a few more cfm. But not alot.
60 no.
You can find some cheapies on ebay for 20. That might be worth it. Its on my list to do, but not high up. |

The cheapest I've seen on eBay is $25 shipped. Jegs wants $82 shipped for theirs. |
