many of you know the legal limit is 220...

Good to hear! Now I gotta make sure to try that with my car next time I go. I thought you were getting 4 year tags? _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

you should do what i do. have an alternant address on your license that is outside of the emissions boundries, such as molallla for example, then all you have to do for tags is go to the dmv and tell them to fork over some tags. then take your emission crap out and party. _________________ gas brake dip dip |

you shan't speak of such blasphemy!
But in all honesty, a third gen has better Cd than many econo cars, if it had skinny tires and a good tune you can pull 30 hwy. Dewey proved that. |

If thirdgens pulled 30 city and 40 highway like the camry I'm driving, then yeah, I'd agree. I think thirdgens are for fun, the camry and others are for practicality. 305302eater gets "good" mileage, near Deweys, on the highway with his TPI and Six Speed, but its the fun factor that makes them worth owning.
Mimicking what Japanese cars do best is blasphemy for a thirdgen in my opinion. _________________

I've seen a diesel engine in a third gen, does that count? _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

i've heard of many people getting out and their car driving away because they didn't think that it was on because it was so quiet.
