.... lost to my 7000+ pound F250 with a stock 7.3 PowerStroke making a measly 225 Hp. Laughing How slow was he before adding the shiny fart can???

I'll admit that I started from a 3nd gear roll. But I'm not going to apologize because 3rd gear takes me to like 25 mph and I don't have a chance if I have to row through 1st and 2nd. Besides, he matched my speed pretty quick before I hit 4th gear. But then the long legs of my upper gears and huge torque started moving the big frieght train. Wink By 5th gear he was eating black soot from my pipes. By 6th gear he was matching my speed and stuck in a cloud of soot about 2 lengths off my rear bumper. And if you don't think he was trying.... this went well into speeds I will not mention. Very Happy So ya, he was trying hard. Laughing

not funny. I got my shizzle shoved in my face by a Lifted, 4X4, Chevy 2500HD, Supercharged, on at least 34 in swampers...and if that wasn't enough he had a quad in the bed.

I'm still depressed Embarassed Anyone want my car? *hangs head in shame and hides in the corner*

That does it dude.... that thing needs some 3.42's or 3.73's. There, now you have a project over winter break!

If you cant beat em up top, at least beat em from a dig!

When he spools up on the line and tosses a cloud of black diesel smoke your way... you know you're in for some serious trouble. Like.... he ran 12's.

Somewhere on the net there are videos of a chevy turbo diesel quad cab 4x4 smoking fox body mustangs all day long.

Neighbor that just moved, he has an F250 6.2? turbo. It was a dog off the line, but once you got to about 30 it did quite nice. I think my grand prix still would have taken it in the 1/4. A bicycle at the time could beat my camaro(hopefully not now).

Can't we get you some sympathy parts? ( Very Happy ) For example, if I put a new rear in my car, you could have my old one (3.07 posi, drum). Since you're carbureted, doesn't someone have an old performer intake laying around? Or a beef-cake carb?

You guys are too nice. but yeah, if anyone has spare go fast parts just lying around i'd love to take em off your hands Smile

I would be all over a new rear, as long as it is in good working order. My current one is really clunky. I have a performer intake and a holley 600 CFM carb so i think that is ok, but the rest is a pretty stock 350 so yeah, i'm open for anything. i mean you guys are the experts! Very Happy

Dude....sweep that up.

Its in WA afterall. Its worth a tank of gas for a guaranteed 3.42 rear.

I agree Jake. An open 3.42 is what I started with in my V6 car. Then I found a posi unit and 4.11 gears to stuff in it. You could even put 28spline axles in it! Doooo it!
