Cause I'm getting good at it now.
Removed the heads off of the blue car and sent them off to the machine shop to be fixxed. Kind of funny, the machinest thinks that valve float may have caused some of the tulip shaped valves. He doesn't need to know that valve float was my choice of rev limiter for 4 years. They should be as good as new. Should be looking for 320 rwhp in January.
While waiting for those to get done I decided to get the red car in and got the heads pulled on it last night. That is alot harder to do with all the emmisions and fuel injection crap. I'll bet it took me 8 - 10 hrs of solid work time to get the heads off. Now just got to clean up the block and the new heads and start bolting it back together. I am excited to get this car on the road and drive it.
Then after both of those are done I'm gonna take Jen's Firebird for a few days and rebuilt her T5 and a few other repairs and upgrades. I warned her to be carefull but she won't listen, and now that massive 305 is shredding her transmission |
