So the chevette motor had a BRAND new dizzy cap and rotor on.... but I don't think it was going to fire anytime soon. Especially since Chris and I couldn't get it to budge.

No wonder it leaked oil out when it was on the dolly!









Tony and I pulled the motor last night and found that mojo! EW. Was going to pull some pistons out but alas, too much extra work. Taking the trans off and all that. Wasn't worth it. Just scrapped it for $36!

Naw.

Badbob is selling me his running 2.8 and all the parts I need to make it work in the Chevette.

Start there. Add a turbo.

Then at some point get 3.1 pistons/crank when it needs a freshening.

well, obviously that hot spark from the new cap, was too much to handle, and the motor blew when all that spark lit the fire!
