Replaced the entire distributor, pickup coil, and module this morning. Completely solved the misfire, high idle, hard start, and a few other problems.
Took it back to emissions and got almost EXACTLY the same result as the first time. Drove it home, parked it, and checked the fuel pressure. Turns out the pressure is dropping off the rail rapidly again.
When I installed the LT1 injectors I tested them before I dropped the rail into the manifold, none leaked, and it held good pressure at around 30psi. It would hold for several hours, and even held about 10psi overnight. Now it drops to zero within 60 seconds.
The injectors are used, but they worked when they came off the LT1, and they worked when they went into my car, and now after about 50 miles of use, they're puking their guts out.
Is there any way that I could be damaging these injectors? |

| if you pressure it up a couple of times does the car start really bad? Seems like if the injectors are bad you could flood the car to verify. It might be the regulator or pump instead if it acts normal. |

| I vote regulator/pump stuff. Like that little rubber piece at the pump! |

Techer: Nope, same problem with no connections.
blue & Paul: Gonna have to yank the rail to confirm, but the 750+ HC at idle makes me think the injectors are shot again. |

| You'd be able to see that on the plugs. That's nasty rich. |
