Something I should have done long ago since I drive by here every day on my way home. I only took the one photo (this was after hours) because the car was dirty following this morning's rain, and the overcast sky, but it turned out well I think (the camera is nice in that department Wink ). Brings back some memories of my former job Laughing

Another nice shot, too big for a background for one car without moving it way forward. Would work well for at least 3 cars.

Maybe next time we get a few crewbies up in this area, we should go visit the place (it's free, operated by submarine vets).

We could, but only if you're up to the expense of a ferry ride ($14.40 each way for car & driver, $6.70 for each passenger westbound - eastbound is free) and driving through some construction in the local area. I was actually thinking of something father in the future, maybe another northern dyno or a cruise around Olympics Smile

Do they take you on tours of the submarines? If so I think that would be a good place to take a drive up to

No sub tours here, just pieces and systems. It's not just subs, it includes all underwater military stuff - diving, weaponry, etc.

Tours can be had at Bangor, but only if you know someone on ship's company, and that's not a guarantee with security the way it is. I've been out long enough that all my "buddies" are also out.

...and your car looks great as usual Cool

Those are cool. Small compared to the ones at Bangor. All of them are bigger than they look since 3/4 of them are still below the waterline Wink

The member who posted is based in Hawaii, but those pics were taken in Guam.

Those look like the Sub Base at Pearl Harbor, I've been there enough times Rolling Eyes . Makes sense because he mentioned Mopars Hawaii.

Edit: Looks like he got in before me. Been to Guam once too, and from those angles, it's hard to distinguish the two.
