.... 4 mouse nests and 1 pile of dead dried up babies. Today I pulled out the rear carpet and all the plastic up to the doors.

1 nest on the front passenger seat. (I had some stuff piled on the seat.)
1 nest on the rear passenger seat.
1 nest under the rear driver side seat.
1 nest in the rear storage compartment.
1 pile of dried up mouse babies under the rear storage compartment in the wheel well.

The good news is that every nest was made of carpet jute backing. I have seen absolutely no damage to any wiring yet. And the carpet is all backed by rubber which means no urine got to my floor pan where rust can form. The floor pan looks like new.

The bad news is that I suspect it's going to be worse in the front half of the car. That's where most the mouse droppings and seed husks are located so that's where most the activity and living occured. Absolutely EVERYTHING must be removed from the interior. A mouse can squeeze in anywhere and I want to eliminate every trace of smell and poop from the car. If it's can't be wiped clean it's being tossed in the trash. Too bad because my interior was otherwise in great shape.

The only advise I can give you is make sure you stay very organized when removing pieces from the dash. Because it seems as if there are hundreds of screws and bolts, that you could misplace.
