So i locked my keys in my car last night...I came home from the GF's place and left the keys in the ignition Duh Now i know I've heard how to unlock these things before but i can't remember right now and i don't want to mess something up. help?

Yeah I've done that so many times I keep an extra key in my wallet. I found a way on the internet but I think I'll PM you just so I'm not posting ways how to break in a car over a car forum

slim jims. takes 10 secs. you can use a coat hanger. but it is easier to use steel banding from pallets cut a couple of notches sand the so it wouldn't cut into anything. actually accourding to an old insurance survey camaro's ranked number one in the nation for easy brake ins back in the day.

Friend of mine was able to open ours faster then i could with the key. And this is even after somebody had built some gaurds around the mechanism inside.

I'm with the consensus...slim jim.....I can break into my own car in about a minute Just gotta feel around to make sure I get it on the lock mechanisim the first time.

I just tried the method with the coat hanger, very simple and very quick. I managed to get it unlocked in under a minute on my first ever try. After a little bit of practice I managed to get in unlocked in about 10 seconds. Good luck.
